[Bug] Mail companions

I attempted to mail the companion "Acolyte of Kelemvor" from one character to the correct character on the same account. While attaching the companion to mail, the game gave a message instructing me to make the companion idle, which I successfully did. During my second step in attaching the companion to the mail, the game also instructed me to spend 40,609 Astral Diamonds to unbind the companion for mail. I made sure I had enough refined diamonds on hand but when I moved the character nothing happened. I am assuming this is designed to be possible, or there wouldn't have been any in-game messages, and other cryptic games have similar features.

    I'm finding it impossible to mail between chars. I only seem to be able to post to the char I'm logged in with. I've tried numerous times with no success. Perhaps I'm missing something obvious and then again maybe not.
    I simply want to send my new char some stuff to get it up and running.
    Can anyone please help me with this problem ?

    This *might* work. Do not mail to your other character. Mail to your @name. Not character@name, just your @name.
