A good beginner class? (a.k.a. Noo-Friendly) (Poll)

So, i'm a new player of neverwinter, but not a complete stranger to mmo's and i know that a couple of the classes are friendlier towards newer players to help them understand the game and to do ok endgame even if gearing/powers/feats is not done correctly. In this game, what do you guys think it is. *PVE only*

Also, slightly off-topic, but is there a "stash" in this game (i.e. item transfer between characters)?

I can't speak of end game, but up to 30 CW, TR, & DC are super easy. A total non gamer could play and of them, and by 10th level be just fine with the basics of game play. Never played GF, and while I think GWF is the most fun of all the classes, it is a bit tougher at lower levels, and requires a bit more dedication.

I got a DC, was pretty easy to play until the Mad Dragon dungeon. Only receiving 60% heal and getting tons of aggro from adds make it very annoying/hard to survive. And once the healer falls, the team's dead as well. So wouldn't say it's as easy as it looks ( only level 32, dunno how it is at 60 )

Would have to say Devoted Cleric... You get Chain armor. Decent damaging spells. self heals without exhausting your potions. Decent Hit Points. People are glad to receive heals from you. You get heals too when you heal someone else. Good survivability. Negatives you ask? Well, they don't have the defense of the warrior-type classes. They don't have the spell range that the Control mages have, or the subtlety of the Trickster Rogues... But if you weigh the positives vs. the negatives, I would still say DClerics are still better-suited for the beginner Neverwinter player. Oh, and did I mention they hold up okay in pvp?

Herogana? You get a skill in your talents that lowers your Aggro from heal spells.Either you get it at level 10 or at level 15, but you get it nonetheless.

Any of the high damage classes can literally faceroll to endgame. Truth be told, any class can faceroll to endgame, but it is much faster and requires less thought as a Trickster Rogue or Control Wizard, and to a lesser degree, Cleric.

GWF requires a whole lot more work early on with shocking survivability, and GF is really not fun until mid-levels when you get more abilities.

But really, I am pretty sure TR and CW could auto-attack their way to level 40.

I play both a GWF and TR, The rogue is a better choice. Sad...

Okie dokie, fantastic. I think im going to play a DC as it seemed a popular choice by you guys. Also, would anyone care to answer my second question? Not sure if it was extremely stupid, but i'd like an answer :)

Clerics are hands down 100% the hardest class in the game to play at lvl 60. If you are looking for an easy mode button smashing class to dink around with at 60, dont pick a cleric. You'll hate your class, and everyone else will hate you too cuz you'll be terrible at your job. If you want a rewarding awesome class and wanna work hard to master it, pick a cleric!
