So, I hear 35 is when a Great Weapon Fighter starts to shine because of Weapon Master's Strike. Just wondering if I'm doing things correctly here.
For single targets, I'm still using Sure Strike. I'll normally pop em once with Weapon Master's Strike to apply the debuff, then hammer away with Sure Strike. Is this the way to use this thing, or should I be using other abilities?
For my Encounter powers I'm using Not So Fast, Takedown, and Restoring Strikes, mainly because they just do good damage.
For Features I'm using Weapon Master and Destroyer.
I just wanna hit things really hard. Am I doing anything wrong here, or should this work okay? Thanks in advance.

Your going to hit stuff harder... but no, its not going to be anywhere near the level of CW or TR. Flourish is a huge boon to both survivability and damage combined with Steel Blitz which will help you do a lot more damage to mobs. So its more like level 32 you can do better. Once you hit Indomitable Battle Strike is where you will hit gold at 50 for more damage and raising your action points quickly.
GWF level 60 (Beholder) - The pains of leveling!
Cleric level 5X (Dragon) - Holy goblin so much easier!
I'm not having any luck with WMS here. I think I need better passives, more supportive encounter abilities, or simply more points invested in WMS before I main it.
WS, SS, Flourish, Takedown, and Not So Fast (for light AoE) - Destroyer and Weapon Master are kicking more than enough *** atm.

Hey there.
Not only Weapon Master's Strike, but also Flourish. The true peak of the GWF is her level 50, once you gain the last feat from the Destroyer tree and Indomitable Battle Strike (that skill hits HARD!). But yes, by level 35 you'll start to scale a lot better!
This was, more or less, my build at level 35. I hope it helps:

Weapon Master Strike is mainly for the damage debuff component. Most of the DPS builds tend to be based around using unstoppable as often as possible in order to build action points faster. Feel free to use encounter powers as they become available unless you are mainly using control/stun type powers.

This was, more or less, my build at level 35. I hope it helps:
- Passives: Destroyer, Weapon Mastery/Bravery
- Encounters: Flourish, Restoring Strike, Takedown
- At Wills: Sure Strike, Weapon Master's Strike
- Dailies: Slam, (Savage Advance / Avalanche of Steel / Whatever you want)
Not so Fast, in my opinion, is a very bad skill. I didn't even max it: it's way too slow and it doesn't help a lot with clearing.
- Titania Silverblade, the Iron Rose of Myth Drannor (Lvl 60 GWF, Destroyer)
- Gwyneth, the Cowardly Cat Burglar Drowling (Lvl 60 TR, Saboteur)
- Lady Rowanne Firehair, Heartwarder of Sune (Lvl 33 DC)
- Satella, Sensate (LvL 44 CW, Renegade, Non-Active)
