What is the Arc Client?

Can you guys experiment with this and see if I am doing something wrong?

Quest Start Map - Protectors Enclave
Objective - Inspect Object
Object - Temple Steps Fountain
Map Transition Object - Temple Steps Fountain

Now, in the objective, there is a dialog editor. Type anything in there it don't matter. Load into the adventure and try to "talk" to the fountain. The dialog, even though it allows you to type it in the dialog editor, does not let you play through the dialog. It simply asks you to hit F to go to the next map. I am trying to make it to where the PC pulls something out of the fountain and looks at it and then is teleported away to the next dungeon. I have the "item" in question made and have the fountain drop said item but that doesn't show up in the inventory either. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

You shouldn't use Interact for dialogs with items. Use Inspect instead.

Thanks for the quick reply Tilt! So I made a mistake in my original post. The objective used is in fact the Inspect Object. I have the dialog done for the fountain and the item "dropped" loaded. However, when I get to the fountain, it still says hit F to go to the next map instead of letting you run through the dialog choices then continuing the quest after dialog is finished depositing the item in you inventory.

You should probably avoid anything but dialogue with NPCs in Cryptic adventure maps. I've heard that these maps don't work well with most interactions.

You are not the only one having problems with the Inspect Object objective. A bug has been reported.
