Recovery & the Classes

So, I started out this game with a Control Wizard, and I've been treating Recovery like my second stat after Power. It just seems to me that if you want to play your Wizard like a controller rather than a blaster (not that there's anything wrong with that), you want to be using your encounter powers as often as possible.

But that got me wondering how other classes relate to the Recovery stat. I figure both of the striker classes really want to build Power and Crit Chance, in that order. But... it seems like GWFs get a lot of damage bonuses from using their Encounter powers. Do they want to build some Recovery as well, to take advantage of that.

And that also leaves the Guardian Fighter and Devoted Cleric. Like the Wizard, presumably they get a lot out of the buffs and debuffs on their Encounter powers. Do they like to have Recovery as much as I think they might?

Really, my question is, just in general: how good is Recovery anyway?

If you can cast powers 10% more your damage is going to go up more than 10% due to debuffing / crits / damage buffs... Obviously if you switch to At Wills this gets skewed but, yeah, it's a great stat.
Gave in to that momentary sadistic twitch...

Cleric here. Recovery is at least as important as Power, IMO; maybe more.
Power could even be 3rd or 4th, behind critical and/or defense, depending on play style and Feats.
I'm using Power - Recover - Defense, in that order myself. I believe later on, i will shift more to Recover/Defense rather than Power.

Edit - I'm at least going to try out a Recovery type build at any rate :)

cleric stat priority is crit>recovery to 30%> power

power scales horribly. 2k power is +100 dmg/healing according to the tooltip. however i have 36% crit with my cat out.

It's hard for the martial classes to get a high enough recovery rating to make it worth it IMO. Int (and wis) are the best ways to get it and I don't see any rogues or fighters dumping points into those two. I know you can get it on gear but it takes A LOT to see a difference.
