I haven't been able to reconnect since early this morning before the scheduled maintenance was performed. I downloaded the new patch (twice!) and got an error both times. It was something to the effect of "soandso file cannot be replaced: you dont have the right permissions". I am checking Force Verify every time I login and am running the launcher with administrative privileges.
Am I going to have to completely redownload and reinstall, or is there another way I'm not thinking of?

My pcl.txt log file gives me this message:
130507 08:52:47 100 Client[0 P[400169709@5459398 XXXXXXXXX@XXXXXXX]]: HTTP patching disconnected from micro.nwhttppatch.crypticstudios.com:80: socket was shutdown(0:No error)
It's done that all day. Just connects to the patch server and disconnects with no errors. I've downloaded the patch twice but can't find the error log that states what the problem was.
I've also tried game mode on my firewall, and turning it off completely to no avail.
Edit: found the error message.
12 [1] ESC : Error: The patchclientlib is internally recording error code : 36\nA file was locked that could not be open for writing - Could not delete previously renamed file (C:/Users/Public/Games/Cryptic Studios/Neverwinter/Live/nvtt.dll.deleteme)
Another edit: Found the culprit. gameclient.exe.deleteme was running the whole time I was force-closing the launcher so it couldn't delete files. Sorry for the mixup!

Also please do not post on threads which are over 30 days old. They are considered dead and particularly when discussing technical issues are beyond likely to be caused by a completely different issue altogether.
