Control Wizards domination in PvP

Everyone is complaining about Control Wizards ingame beeing to powerful ontop of their crowd control, but i dont see much about it on the forums.

Control Wizards do way to much damage in relation to the cc they have, you get knocked down or punted up into the air and before the animation from you staggering back up is over, the CW has cast 2-3 more spells ontop of your head taking of 2/3 of your health. If you start running towards them, they knock you back, or blink/teleport away.

CW has advantage of beeing both range and able to keep their enemies away from them or in place endlessly with their cc, while melee classes suffer from their cc not stoping their enemy from moving.

Even if you cc as a melee, all your attacks are static, even if you do cc, youll swing in the air if the enemy just moves.
CW dont suffer from that problem beeing a ranged class.

Melee classes needs more immoblize+not beeing able to fight back cc to be able to counter CW, CW damage in PvP should also be lowered, their not a dps class.

Only way to kill a Control Wizard in PvP, is to get help from another Control Wizard in your team, which is kinda silly.

wizard is not so strong at higher levels, most QQ are from low levels which is not where the game should be balanced at.

If you are a rogue you won't have that issue at high lvl the Rogue gets a CC breaker where you can get out of the move so don't worry your OPness comes at 60. Oh also if you pvp make sure you stick with another rogue and both target 1 guy it's GG for that guy.

I think it all depends on how you play, I play a cleric and am on or near the top of the PVP scoreboard at the end of each match, it just depends on your setup and how you play. I have a skill that will (once every 40 second) entirely negate an attack so they run up to me and try to pull that HAMSTER and it just bounces so they blow their best shot. Meanwhile I slap down a shield and start tossing DOT's left and right, then they just run off to die :)

lol CW is a beast at low level, they are just as deadly in higher level.
With constant CC, mobility spells and massive damage in the hands of a normal decent player (5% of the community sadly) can dominate a PvP match.
I am consistently ranked in the top 2 in all the PvP matches I've played so far with average scores being something like 15 kills 2 deaths.

TBH going with a burst build is the only thing I found useful with CW at higher levels.

I have GWF fighters prone-lock me from 100-0 constantly, Guardian Fighters are incredibly hard to kill and have a 0 cooldown gap closer, decent dmg and cc and just win, eventually.

    Clerics make fights last FOREVER.

Rogues can usually one shot you (I had it happen a few times)

Everything is pretty much OP. Before high levels I felt kinda useless on my CW, sure I dodge around 3 times but I just tickled people with my pathetic dmg and throw out my couple 1 second stuns or knockback (our only REALLY good cc). I can't do dmg and kite at the same time, I had classes eventually winning in the long run

At higher levels I can actually set up some good burst though, stack -mitigation debuffs and use the single target spike daily for crazy dmg, that's about it, then run away and wait to do it again, kinda boring really.

I actually really hope a controller focused build is actually viable/decent, because I didn't really role a Control Wizard to be a generic burst mage, I played it to, you know, control. I actually feel like other classes can actually stunlock better, especially GWF's.

They are fine. The good ones are a somewhat strong counter to me as a cleric. However, they get countered by GWF and GF.
