That **** is terrible I don't want that in NWO. People actually want to zerg around for half an hour to get your DC drop ninja'ed by some childish TR wanting to sell it on AH?
Thanks for the reply, but no thanks, the game will be fine without that bs
Raid = A grouping mechanism that allows people who judge their self worth by the pixels they own to chest thump and make the gaming community look like jerks

Yeah I'm grouping with some folks on Dragon who are actually taking their time on Dungeons, letting the thieves disable traps, the clerics to heal, it's so much more fun than the speed runs I use to have to deal with.
I wouldn't mind a raid or two in this game might be kinda fun if done right but with the way some people feel towards raiding or raiders it probably wont happen.

you did know what a raid is, you just wanted to set up a whinethread.
well played sir, well played.
It is content that is designed for groups of 10,20,25,etc depending on what the developer feels is appropriate. The content is usually "supposed to be" very difficult so that only organized and geared players can accomplish. Normally communication is key(ventrilo, teamspeak, some other voice communication), and historically is not for pick up groups to endeveour, however WoW kind of broke this rule and destroyed the spirit of raiding by opening it up. The rewards are supposed to be the best in game.
Just think of them as larger 5 man dungeons with harder bosses, more bosses(raids can take 2-5 hours to complete),and better rewards. Typically, it takes guilds several weeks to several months to be able to kill all of the bosses...it takes strategy. But there are those stupid elitist guilds that down it all in a day.

That's not a great comment. I hate in mmos when people yell at other people who mess up. Like people can't be allowed to learn and make mistakes, or that a ****ing game is more important than other peoples feelings. Makes me wonder about the education system those people are used to, where name calling and putting other players down is a good thing to do, in their minds. It just discourages people. Like forced grouping and artificial friendships. not to mention with how everyone fights about it, makes me wonder why they even want poorly designed content like that in the first place.

Devs have already stated that larger group content is coming at a later time. So it will happen just not yet.

Hopefully they don't. I'm tired of THAT kind of game. it can be found everywhere and it's nothing special anymore. I wish this game had turned out to be the game they were planning to make years ago when they first talked about it. A D&D world where you are immersed, not mmo mentality where people totally crush it with their cruel comments.

This might burst your balls, but A LOT of the people playing Neverwinter right now don't give any craps about D&D. They just play for the gameplay. I am one of them. I've never played D&D in my life and I don't care about D&D. And due to several reasons, once I hit max level I'm probably done with this game.

Ok, another good reason not to waste dev resources on stuff that no one wants. Cool

Yeah I hope they don't start to cater to wowtards and 'hardcore gamers'... there is already a lot of games that cater to that demographic
