I can't seem to do anything in pvp as a trickster rogue. My attacks start with 200-300 damage and if I keep doing them, they reach over 1500-2000 damage, but that simply doesn't happen, nobody is staying there for me to attack him.
I tried the dazing strike, but it has no use, even if the enemy doesn't move out of they way, I can do about 1000 damage until it wears off.
How am I suppose to do anything with this class and how come others do incredible amounts of damage with their autoattacks?
you should probably watch some streams to learn how to pvp. But even then you'll need a ton of practice.
I suck at pvp but the following helps me.
1. Save your skills to react. For instance, a mage has 3 blinks. You have two rolls and a gap closer. So use your rolls on when you see him blink and save the gap closer for his last blink. In other words, you have to know your enemies skills and know which of your skills counters theirs. If you use ur skills for no reason and you miss, you've lost the fight. Which brings me to my next point.
2. Know when to disengage. If you are in a fair fight and you are getting focused and losing health, be ready to roll out of there. That means save your rolls and stealth to get away. If more enemies arrive and you are outnumbered, flee! Don't go after that 1 guy with 10% health, you'll never kill him.
3. Follow the most skilled guy in your team. Press x and see who has the most kills or least deaths. Follow him/her and target his target. A lot of good players become unstoppable with an extra stun or a little extra dmg. If you suck and do your own thing and die, you lose the game for your team.
