You can also purchase them 'remotely' if you're not near Neverwinter. Wonderous Bazaar or something up in top menu bar. Not sure if there is a hotkey for it or not.

this is really stupid -.- why do we even have gold?
there is soo many currencies its laugheble and i constantly feel like they are trying to forced me to continually use more and more money on all kind of wierd ****.. (even if this is not the case it gives a really bad tasted in my mouth)

a game should max have 2 currencies.
    1: ingame currency.
    2: cash shop currency.

    done deal -.-

Lol if you feel "forced" to spend money to get identify scrolls you are doing something wrong. Even if you are the unluckiest person I. Getti g tham to drop running a couple dailies should get you all the AD you need to supplement the drops you get of scrolls. Personally I always have more scrolls than objects and never spent AD.

As for gold that is simple it is for pots and kits primarily. Maybe they should eliminate gold and make you use AD for pots and kits. That would reduce number of currencies and I am sure make you happy.

I would tell you how I convert my gold to AD, but then I would probably lose a good chunk of the AD I am making by making it public soooo ............

I'll just say, if you use the auction house and vendors properly, there are ways to turn your gold into AD. Just sayin' ...

Really? I was curious because I actually ran out in the BW3. I was identifying everything. I want to ID everything because the stuff I dont need I want to sell and it sucks selling non IDs stuff, but I don't want to run out of ID scrolls to have when I get somthing me character actually needs.

I hit level 30 yesterday, ended up with 15 class items unidentified in my bag. Ran three foundry quests, ended up with 24 scrolls of lesser identification. I have 4 scrolls of identification. Something's awry...

I've had a total of 24 unidentified item drops at level 29 for level 30+ gear, and only 3 of the 30+ scrolls drop. I have only identified two items (class related) so far.

its not a matter of finding ways around extremely bad design but pointing out that it is bad design and the devs should fix it.

true you can work around it, but it feels really bad when you have to use so many different currency.
in reality the price for scrools is so small you hardly feel it, even when buying 20 of them in one go. but the fact you have to use ad and you got gold as well gives you a bad tasted of "real money".

i dont see why everything isnt paid with AD or gold, just choose one instead of both :)

Because it is a f2p game. If you can get all needed currency from killing mobs then farmers put you out of business.

If you have to use AD for required items like pots then it becomes p2w.

    The solution is multiple currencies.

do 1 foundry daily and done, its not hard could easily get 20+ scrolls a day though my advice is if you are running low... just wait... once you hit orc zone and beyond, the id scrolls drop alot.

Blame gold spammers ! I like this model it makes AD farming a bit rough . And gold is all you need leveling up . I think it is an ingenious solution.

erebus2075 complaint was not about buying something but that there is more than one currency in the game gold, AD, and seals (four of these that I know of). It seems a little complicated for a game.

Has the mmo industry devolved to the point that having to spend a small amount of effort to figure out multiple currencies is too complicated for the playerbase or are these posters the exception?

I don't think it's any effort to figure out what's used for what. It's really not that complicated.
