Heh, it is a "marketing ploy" why give an end date when people may "panic" and buy early. There will be limited edition that comes with HotN pack so by saying "it will end soon" will get people to buy it as soon as possible.
this also allow the PWE to check to see how many are selling (if they have a target number) by leaving the date "open" they can move around the closing date without player knowing or have issue.
Lets say they need to sell 3000 units. PWE may not release a close date until at LEAST 2500 units are sold, that way when an end date release and they close it, the final sale might be 2600 units.
But if they need 3000 units and set an end date, but near the end date they only sold 2000 unit but want to sell at least 500 more and EXTEND the close date by "x days" people will complain (people complain any way but why give reason) so by leaving the date open and see the progress then they can close it (probably give like a week or two notice)
Says the date now underneath the private message inbox haha use to just say "The Founder Program ends soon."
At least it answered my question now.
So, is that when open beta ends?

I will galdly become founder (even with hero of that nthingy), but there is a catch: I am willing to pay exactly 199$ for it, and i am in europe.
Either it is product (then price it reasonably) or it is kind of kickstarter thing so willing ones can support game (so price tag really does not matter), but then make same price for everybody.
And as i wrote, my price tag for buying it is 199$.
The forum banner says the founder program ends on May 30th. On May 3rd, the facebook page was updated to say:
"Adventurers! May 9, 2013 is your last chance to become a Neverwinter Founder before it's gone! Hero of the North Founder's Packs will be removed along with changes to the Guardian of Neverwinter Pack."
As that was posted just 4 days ago to Facebook, it's not exactly outdated news. It's difficult to know which date to trust. I would also really like to know what sort of "changes" will be occurring to the Guardian of Neverwinter Pack.
Unless they change the date again. Soon was previously defined as the 5th of may I think
They will keep pushing it out until people stop buying it. It's selling really well because people don't realize that they would be much better off buying Zen instead.

I don't know.. the $60 guardian pack is actually a decent deal if you plan to use a respec at some point ($6 value), like the mount ($30 value), like the companion ($30 value), want the extra character slot ($2.50 value) and want the astral diamonds ($15 value).
I say "decent deal" as if all that stuff isn't wildly overpriced to begin with.
I suspect when they "change" the guardian pack, it will be much less appealing than it is now.

Yes, quoting myself.
It seems the forum banner has now been changed to say "soon" instead of May 30th. Maybe they're going with the facebook advertised May 9th date after all.

Please review my campaign and I'll return the favor.
