OK, so I am 31 now and I must say I am having fun, but these dungeons are a bit tough when I can summon every mob to me. Even with a Guardian there, which I have been told they need to have there taunt fixed, I am way to busy running around trying to dump agro or just stay alive. I have taken ALL the agro reduction abilities and powers and yet I can still pull agro from the biggest dps. During the 3 dungeon fight with the dragon we had 2 clerics and could not beat the fight due our ability to summon agro from mobs across the cave and were always the first to die because the adds just came straight to us not any other player.
Please fix our agro management. This game is awesome and this needs to be fixed.

Or maybe that's how they designed it? This same "issue" was in Tera. You know what the fix was? People playing better. There's many different things that are required in that dragon fight. One of those things is clerics kiting. It's the first thing I tell any healer when we do that boss. You will have to kite. If you cannot you will die and we will lose.
I see the troll patrol is out in force. I know how to play my class. Been doing it since Everquest, WoW, DAoC, and a few others So I think I know how a healing class should work. But again this is for the devs not trolls.
This might be part of your problem. The cleric has very little in common with healers from other MMOs in the way it plays. If you go around trying to play the cleric like a healer from those MMOs you listed then of course you are going to have a hard time...
Oh wait, I'm a troll and not a dev. Forget I said anything helpful. Carry on.

It's quite arrogant for you at level 31 to think you have game feedback that is above other player comment. The model of a healer in this game is different than the classic trinity. And your struggles at level 31 are not representative of the game as a whole and do not provide sufficient evidence for game changes by devs.
So partake of the community. For an MMO, this is a pretty good one. There is great information from Deistick and Unspecifiederror, your local thread troll, and others.

People please stop citing Tera as an example.
What do I kite in Tera?!?!
1. Jellies. Oh the fun jellies. Instakill if you stop too long. But you know what, once I set them, they do their big aoe away from everyone and eventually die. ACHM jellies? Just kite around, tralala, in no bloody danger really most of the time. Cannot compare one bit to kiting in NW.
2. queen phase 1. I'm on the horse most of the time, unless lag or stupidity hits me, I do not get hit once and go in with charms not even engaged yet. My party has mucho free space to sit there bandaging themselves between hits, AGAIN... cannot compare to cleric kiting in the least. NW reality: My party takes still much damage, I take much damage and run out of stamina super fast, and end up kiting around a floor full of red... Oh and the allmighty archers and caster which you cannot "kite", you have to disable/kill/live through because they do not budge.
Everything else in Tera, DPS peels OFF the boss and kills any mobs that appear. Ebon Tower, if you hope your healer can just kite the gazillion spiders and chaos fatties and survive you are crazy. We 2man that, always thin out the mobs. It's **** 101 mistake to expect the healer to kite those mobs.
Hmmm... there's some other fun dungeons, some where one person kites that fireballs, usually NOT the healer unless it's a random aggro thing...
Or are we discussing kiting the bams to glitch the one and only raid to shortman it? That's also dead cause they fixed it. Randoms kite the bams but it's never a healer, it's a lancer or warrior kiting them until boss is dead. And it's just laziness and our guild never does that, we kill each bam.
So enlighten me where I have to kite in Tera that remotely resembles this Neverwinter mess?
Yeah. Too much dps tunnel vision leads to problems. The 40% self heal debuff is a bit strange though. I still don't understand why that even exists. I can't think of a successful game which implements this...
Also (and I'm not 100% positive about this) -- some bosses seem to do their own thing whether or not a tank is (supposedly) holding aggro on them. I get the feeling that tanks are meant to run around and focus on adds for a few bosses tanks.

No no no. I had some crazy tanks who tried chasing ads and it was 100 times worse. I wish he hadn't even been in party and just gave me a DPS instead if he's going to not even hold boss most of the time. BLECHS.
People can't agree. Official story was we used less pots than anyone else... ahmm considering epic dungeons weren't even up for beta, nerfing self-heal for data based on 1-50 is stupid.
The unofficial conspiracy theory is that they nerfed us due to being too OP in pvp. If we compare to Tera, they don't nerf healers, you just have to focus their healer down (usually 1-2 healers per 15 group)... play smart and take the healer down first, use stuns, interrupts, aoes etc. So I don't see why cleric needed to be nerfed for PVP and I hate pvp anyway.
Right now I drink more pots than anyone in party, hands down.

did dragon boss(killed it on first try, like tank i used +-20pots) and idris boss(killed it on second try, first wipe only because DPS rush to boss and didnt let me pull it) both without healer and we did fine, i play GF and always hold boss and most adds
i always saying ppl before boss fights kill adds fast, because adds are spawn by time(every lets say 30secs x amount of adds) and/or by boss HP(75% few weak adds, 50% stronger 25% more stronger) so if ppl ignore adds and dps boss it always fail
PS: now game is a lot easier(was in BW3 and mad dragon was a lot harder, tanks have broken agro holding, but still think it was harder)
lvl31 cleric in mad dragon dungeon complain that he die, isnt mad dragon lvl34 dungeon?
EDIT: running with 2healers when party have 5 members dont seems like good idea

Well you identified your problem right there in thinkibg that wow or eq is showing how the cleric class should work in this game. Like it or not it was clearly an intentional decision not to have it work the same here. The cleric is a much more active and strategic class here and if you play it like an eq cleric or wowhealer then it will not go well

I don't mind having to kite mobs in dungeons. What I do mind is when my group tunnels the boss and leaves the mobs on me, then they wonder why we wipe. It wouldn't be so bad with a competent group though, I suppose.

1) Tanks can keep boss aggro 99% of the time and some of the ads most of the time (they just have to not suck and I'm talking level 60 epic dungeons).
2) The CW should be helping manage adds.
3) TRs and GWFs should be breaking off to kill adds at 75% and 25% on almost every boss (extra adds spawn then).
4) You have to build to deal with adds.
5) Everything changes when you get Astral Shield at 50. (Edit: You still get aggro, you just won't care as much)

This stuff right here is good advice. Wish people would finally adapt. Still messy, but when DPS cooperates... life is nice.
