Guardian fighter feat - please explain

I have to choose between the first two feats of the Protector (Paragon) (tier 1) but I am not sure what one of them does.
Armor of Bahamut
When your Guard is broken, reduce 6/12/18/24/30% of the remaining Guard Break damage.

Could somebody please explain this to me?

    When guard meter runs out it breaks, so it reduces the damage you take from the breaking attack by 6-30%?

    So only the first attack after it breaks you say? Sounds good vs bosses but bad when you're farming cause of the 5 small guys that hit you fast and light.

    Its on the hit the Guard meter breaks not once it is broken. Only effective when it is used as the Guard brakes not once broken.

    Ah now I get it, so the last hit that would break the Guard has its damaged reduced.
