Possible to put blood on the ground?

I've been trying to put blood on the ground with the projector-blood large in the details section but it just doesn't seem to work. Does anyone have any experience with this?

The projectors usually end up projecting their textures on ceilings and walls for me but I may be using them incorrectly, as to your question there are other blood splatter decors that you can place that aren't projectors which work fine.

I've been using those too and they are coming up gray. at least in the foundry while i edit. I am not sure if they would be red when published.

They're a very dark red for me when I preview a map.

In Tilt32's The Lanaar Legacy he has some excellent blood spatter. Hopefully he will stop by and tell us what he used :)

I used some blood splatter in The Lanaar Legacy, mostly through the use of the projectors. There was also a decal or two, but they are more limited (and less dark in color).

I'm confused on how you use projectors though. When moving them around in 3d I am not sure what im looking at

You and me both. I find that if I'm not getting the results I expect, flipping the entire thing around tends to help. It can be hard to tell what is the projector and what is the target.

The large blood projector works fine! You need P(Pitch)= 180(down to the ground) and Y need positiv value. The higher y= bigger blood stain! It will visible(and not dark, but RED!), if you are testing with "Play map" or "Play map from here"!!!
    (sorry my english!)

The projector has two parts the lens and the projector. when you select and move it you will see two boxes in motion. Rotate the top and bottom to get the projector to project on the ground as suggested above.

The problem maybe your graphics settings. Projectors and other fxs only show up if its set to medium or high. i cant remember which one. (visual fx) i think? its one of those settings.

    If P=180 doesn't work, you might try R=180 -- I know it's R=180 for Snow projectors.
