Rogue smoke bomb DC'ing people
Damage from CW and Rogue is HAMSTER high, how is it in anyway shape or form "skilled" to randomly 1 shot people with daily abilities?

Are people dcing because of smokebomb? yes
Are CWs able to 90% ppl with 1 ability... yes..
CWs need a massive dmg nerf.. or that force choke to be removed.
I play GWF and TR at 60 and the only change id make to TR is remove their dagger throw (Cloud of steel) as its just not needed and makes the class faceroll. Also shocking execution daily breaks pvp.
GWF needs single target dmg buff, with a gs of 9.5k i have to hit a cw or tr in decent gear around 5 times (5 skills) to kill them.. yet a cw can almost one shot me and a tr can 2 shot me while im disabled.
Pretty sure this game wasnt designed with pvp in mind.

I agree the game isn't designed around pvp, but if you are gonna go through the trouble as a company in putting it in your game to attract a pvp community, the least you could do is attempt to balance or at least acknowledge and address the major issues?
I ain't playing this game until they buff that garbage they call GWF. And also fix the sword model on Slim Humans back, it don't even sit on the back properly, just goes through your body making your armor and weapon look HAMSTER.

GWF DOES LOWEST DPS IN-GAME FROM 1-50. CLERIC BASIC ATTACKS DO DOUBLE DMG. PLAYING GWF IS LIKE PLAYING THIS GAME ON SUICIDE DIFFICULTY. AND PUT THE SWORD PROPERLY ON THE BACK OF HUMANS, I HAVE CREATED 12 DIFFERENT CHARACTERS WITH DIFFERENT SCALES AND THE ONLY WAY THE SWORD SITS ON MY BACK FINE IS IF I'M A FAT MEATBALL.
I play a CW myself and yes it is a little absurd the kinds of things we can do. I actually stopped using Entangling Force because it just seemed super cheesy to use it in pvp.
And yea Ice Knife Critting can be crazy high damage but it is a daily so its kind of limited. Just like the TR daily that 1 shots people. Those skills I can live with since they arent spammable.
But the smoke bomb crashing people is ridiculous. And I agree their ranged At Will is just silly. Like seriously? How are they getting 10 more daggers to regenerate on themselves? Its just stupid.
I know its useful for PvE. Maybe they need to just make certain skills/spells exempt from PvP arena.
Get rid of Entangling force for PVP and get rid of rogues ranged at will for PVP
This game was definitely not designed with pvp in mind. But the potential for it to be really fun and enjoyable for a long time is there.
Just need a little PVP ONLY BALANCE, like spells/skills change when youre in the arena.

TR here, agreed with removing cloud of steel. The second I entered a pvp at level 10 and used it to outdps any other ranged class 1v1 i knew it needed to be removed. We are a melee striking class with an at will that out damage any other classes at will ranged? That doesn't make sense to me. As for the one shotting people and such...i think everyone is just trying to build way too much power/crit/damage stuff with no regard to defense. I do forsee a damage reduction but as people meta the game out it'll better itself.
Its actually making me smile that people are agreeing to change the game for the better even if it means our classes are "nerfed" slightly. Hopefully a sign of a good community ^^

That's a good point about everyone gearing and building for power/crit for the most part. I have been slowly changing form a crit power build to a recovery/defense/movement build. And I notice I live a LOT longer now in the pvp matches.

They just need to adjust the scaling of their abilities. GWF are pretty good at 60 from what Ive seen.
I quit my GWF at like level 12. I have one of every class and the amount of potion spam you need with this particular class is ****ing ridiculous. From what I'm reading/seeing they do scale well but why is their early game so terrible? Every other class does at least double if not triple the dps of the GWF. Longer time to kill = more potions = more money = people not playing the class.
I have no idea why they made the scaling so bad. But its the same reason I havent leveled my GWF yet. They are definitely Pot Chuggers at lower levels. And most people only group for Skirmishes and Dungeon Delves, never that easy to find an actual questing group. And I dont wanna just spam foundry xp quests.
Hopefully they adjust GWF scaling, or maybe even change the order of which they get certain powers. Something to help even them out at every level. Because playing a class that doesnt start to get good until over 30 isnt much fun
