the ACTUAL requirements for making a guild?

My friends and I tried to make a guild and when I looked up the requirements for doing so on literally the only wiki page that has any info at all (neverwinter.gamepedia.com) it just said you need a team of 5. So we got a team of 5 together and then find out we all need to be level 15. Ok that's fine, wish the wiki would have said so but whatever. So we all got to 15 and tried yet again to make one. Then we got an error message saying that we either needed to purchase a founder's pack or transfer zen to the game in order to make a guild. So...we have to drop money on this game to make a guild? Can anyone clarify this please and tell me if this is really the case or a glitch or something? Because guilds are not supposed to be a "pay only" feature in a game...

Who says that Guilds cant be a pay only feature? Just because other games have done things differently doesnt meant everyone has to hold true to those ideals. Otherwise we would still be playing Muds

its to stop Free players from forming guilds to simply use the guild bank feature. . . so they buy more bank slots. . .

Well, it's a pretty large feature of any MMO. If the game's to be F2P, it should be accessible. IMO.

well everything was supposed to be available free to some extent meaning that you may have to grind it out. I do wonnder though that if you were to exchange AD for even one zen if that would meet the zen requirement

It does so long as you transfer the 1 zen off the exchange and into your spendable Zen.
