I just got a very rare necklace, which is awesome and everything, but it means I have to wear it instead of my cool-looking cape. Unfortunately, "change appearance" is not an option for necklaces, so I can't put my cape's awesome looks on the necklace. Any plans on ever changing that or am I just gonna be capeless from now on?

Really? I've was able to change lots of necklaces into capes. Mind you that was in Closed Beta. It might just be that one item, try reporting it.

no they made it so you cant. and thats good because it is illogical to morph a necklace into a cape even if it 'goes into the same slot'.

Logical. Because morphing is logical to begin with. And magic. And elves. :P

You can't change appearance on any of the jewelry pieces any more, which really kind of blows. I wanted to keep the glow from the ring I got from my pack. That glow was the coolest part of the item. They really should change it back. I don't understand why they would remove the feature.

Yeah, the ring is kinda useless now.
Hope this is only temporary and we'll be allowed to change jewelry appearance again.

Hmm, I just came across this thread after searching for exactly this problem - I was hoping to change my necklace's look into that of my cape
I'm disappointed to hear they changed it so it can't be altered, I really hope they change it back. It just adds more possibilities to character customization in my opinion.

I agree. I want to wear a cloak but have a necklace. What's worse, I found a cloak I'd be willing to wear from a stat point and taking the hit, but I can't even change the appearance between the cloaks!
