take a look at the AH and youll see low level items going for huge amounts of money. People not doing buyouts in hopes of stealing huge abounts of AD. The way the game is set up its going to be down to a few die hards in 3 months. really 5 day bids for level 30 blues i bid and 5 days later iam level 40 and cant use it. price your stuff more moderatly please especially low level stuff and thats everything below 60, they only gear that really counts is the cap out stuff. I am not going to buy it and neither are most people. When the noobs come who didnt get 600k in AD for buying the game show up there not going to be able to afford it and there going to leave thinking they cant compete. If you take a little you can win more. try it.

Because players are greedy and fiscally abusive in large part thanks to their anonymity in an online environment and their constant encouragement to shell out the least amount of effort for the greatest gain?

No, seriously. It's like lightning traveling to the ground or liquid finding the lowest point. Path of Least resistance in all cases.

Personally I sell my HAMSTER for cheap. I want rid of it and the market is in free fall atm. Putting something on the AH for a large sum will generally just ensure its still there 5 days later. People are constantly under-cutting so if you wanna make AD sell cheap until the market settles down.

I mean people were selling T1 epics for 1.5 million AD, now I see them at ~20-30K AD. T2's are still pretty pricey but as more people venture into T2 Dungeons theses will drop too.

The only things, currently, with real value are the crafting assets and other cash shop items, these will eventually drop in price but at a much slower rate than in game items.

I agree with you man. I personally put BO pricing on all my stuff. I don't have time to waste with these things and putting a bid only usually ends up sending the bag clogging item right back to me in the end. it's just a hassle.

If I don't see a buyout for an item on the AH, I won't buy it.

    Period.

I want an item now and not 5 days from now.

I agree with this currently im staying out of the AH game and just npc ing everything im not using except blues or higher just because the market is way unstable atm. Not to mention a ton of people have craploads of AD from founders packs. In my opinion its best to just wait a while until AH settles and prices get stabalized before you start messin with it.

With a 2% listing fee, I saw someone list a lesser weapon enchant for 15 million AD. So they basically paid 300,000 AD just to list something no one would ever buy at that price.

It doesn't bother me that people are stupid. It does bother me that cryptic is taking advantage of their stupidity.

How is Cryptic taking advantage of that? Who told them to list something for a stupid price? Could have also been some kind of shady AD selling move. List it for 15mil then the person who is "selling" you the AD buys it for that crazy price.

Probably some of the worst economy ive seen in an mmo. AD is non tradeable? Gold is just a visual number used for pots you need to chug every god **** 20 seconds?

    Yawn.

It is fairly bad, but to be expected with all of the AD they sold to founders. It has created a P2W environment, at least for the first month or two.

the people pricing things way too high are simply not going to get payed and the fee they paid to list items will be wasted i think this will correct itself over time, the biggest issue i see right now is that many functions on the auction house don't work and many are simply not going to waist their time searching through the entire list of items since they cannot limit the level range right now.

It's to be expected. Give it some time and things will even out.

Personally, I would hoard your AD as much as possible for the time being.
