Combine item looks

Hey all,

So, I'm new here, and I was wondering if there was a system to combine the looks of one item with the stats of another.

I swear I found a "tailor" NPC who would do that for you, but now I'm checking my map and I can't find them. I'm wondering if it was taken out for OB, or if I'm remembering a completely different game and am probably crazy.

    You can right click on a piece of gear and choose to change its appearance, which opens a new window. The downside is that they want AD to do so, and a good amount of them! That makes no sense at all, as in GW2, there was no cost associated with this very same feature, yet PW wants players to "pay" for this basic service and from what I have seen, the higher lvl you go, the AD costs sky rocket in cost.

    This feature should be free, or very low cost in AD at the most, as this discourages a lot of players from using this feature as I would rather save my AD and use it on dye packs, or other cool things. PW needs to take a page from GW2 and not charge players anything to combine looks between 2 items.

    Hell, in GW2, not only was it free, but you could also choose which stats you wanted to transfer as well, that way if you found a nice piece of gear with the stats you wanted, but you didn't like the look, you could transfer those stats while keeping the look you wanted, a win / win!

    Right now with how PW is doing things, this is a major turn off for me and lowers my decision making process to buy any more pts for AD's.
