I'm just now getting into the Foundry trying to create my first quest.
Is it true that we are unable to have an NPC as a boss ? How do you people overcome this?
I want one of the characters I create as NPCs to be the final boss of the quest...I'm sure this is a pretty common thing people would want to have in their quests.
How do you overcome not being able to create NPC bosses?!
Can we only have a generic monster as a boss? This seems totally limiting.....
Yeah i think so, but i don't think you can make him any harder to kill. Not sure/

YOu can take any enemy... a Golem, for example, and change their skin to match that of your npc. Just create a "costume" with the name of your npc and apply it to whomever you want throughout your campaign.

AWESOME! Thanks guys! This issue has almost completely sucked all my enthusiasm thinking I couldn't make a boss look like an NPC.
This solves it! thanks!

Becareful, not all creatures skins go correctly with each type of mob. For instance, if you re-skin a spider to look like an evil drow. The evil drow will still spit acid and shoot webs, but evil drow animation will not look right - it will just stand there while acid and webs are shooting from the evil drow NPC.
I'm also working on a map... and having the same issue.... where exactly can you change the costume for an encounter mob? I set down a 1 man drow assassin encounter, and don't see the option to change the costume when I click on the encounter node..
EDIT: nvm, figured it out.... I was not looking at the map in DETAIL MODE. ! makes a big difference
