  AFAIK all bought companions are only given out to one character (you might be able to pay AD to unbind them though) EXCEPT for those obtained if you bought a Founder pack which are granted for every character you ever make.

  ok thanks, but i read the unbinding is currently broken? IS this being fixed?

  I can't say not having tried to unbind a companion myself so keeping up-to-date with that thread is probably your best bet.
  But ask yourself this: would Cryptic get more money by implementing this system or not. That should give you a clue as to how high a priority it is to fix this bug.

  Well if people started demanding their money back, like I will - brought Zen for keys to get an idol to cover the cost, was a risk I was willing to pay with the idol being a RNG thing and the unbind an option that s been in the game for us to use - they would realise its a pretty important thing for people that want to unbind.
