Starting new professions

Is there something special you have to do to start working on a new profession? I have level 3 leadership, so I have a second slot, but all of my other professions are level 0, and there are no available level 0 tasks.

    Is this on the gateway? There are bugs with it not showing stuff when it should. Otherwise there shouldn't be anything preventing you from starting the level 0 "recruit your first" whatever task.

    It's the gateway. I'm stuck at work, so was trying to start up some new stuff since I hit level 3 this morning. I'll try it again when I get home and can log in. Thank you!
