When you hit level 20 you will hit a brick wall and level very slowly due to your damage. But what alot of people seem to ignore their first time leveling up are the vendors in the south side of the city. I believe at level 20 you can buy blue gear from them and it will make leveling much easier up until 28, then you can buy new gear again at level 30.
Thanks for this info. Do they charge gold or Astral Diamonds as if it is gold that is great while if AD less so, especially for new players, although this is still very useful to know,

The vendors are in the Seven Suns Coster Market and you can get armour and weapons for gold which is hugely beneficial unless you have been very lucky with drops.

How do you get gold? I've only been getting copper and silver, mostly copper, up to the point Im at.
Actually they charge just silver and copper and are very cheap
Everyone just refers to it as Gold as it is quicker to type than Silver and Copper coins.......

Sorry for the late replies, haven't checked up on the forums the last few days. As said, you can buy gear from the Seven Suns Coster Market which is in the southern part of the city. There are multiple vendors (armor, weapons, necklace, etc.) placed in this small market area.
So starting at 20 every 10 levels I would recommend heading back to the enclave to buy a fresh new set of gear. The gear will only cost you a few silver and will make the next 5 levels or so much easier. I just recommenced this for GWF because they struggle the most before level 35 and people seem to be calling the class underpowered before they reach this point.
This is good to know. But I honestly hope that GWF early levels never get buffed in dmg and all the other classes get pulled back down in line with the GWF. What is the point of having all these monsters in between you and your goal if you can simply hit left click 3 times and it dies? The game is already made unbelievably easy by companions. I don't think I've used a single pot since level 16 with cleric companion lol, where 15 and under I was always worried about running out. It should never be easy to kill a group of 4 orcs....

Well, I believe the problem is the potion system. Maybe after the game is optimized a bit more and more content is released they can increase the cooldown between uses or nerf them or something. I played Diablo 2 back in the day and that was the same issue with the first 2 difficulties. If you knew what you were doing you could chug down potions, although it was difficult at times later into the 2nd.

the gear is not blue unless you pay with crystals ~10k each item
and the green ones have only power+arp on them and arn't any better than drops.
so not really worth it, unless I'm visiting the wrong ones.
Ahh thats a good point. Honestly though for all starting GWF's out there. If you like the playstyle of the class, stick with it. Early 20's you should finally start seeing some gear that is worth something, and even one piece of different gear makes a big difference. GWF is like every other dps warrior to ever exist in MMO's. We are the most gear reliant class in the game. After getting a really nice pair of boots at 20, a decent sword at 22, and a nice chest at 24 I felt much much closer to other classes from there on out. At later levels, 40+, this dps gap disappears. This even includes single target dmg. If built correctly a GWF can push the same levels of single target dps that a rogue can while still maintaining amazing aoe dmg via Wicked Strike spam during Unstoppable. Not only that, but we are tanky even when built pure dps, we are fast, and we have reliable cc. Since 40 I have been completely satisfied and feel like an absolute wrecking ball. I have also had a lot of good results in PvP. Only class that I had issues with were good GFs. Just remember, GWF isnt played like a rogue. Most of our dmg comes from ramping up stacking buffs and then unloading with unstoppable in tandem with our dailies. So for the first 15 seconds of a fight we feel meh...and then we hulk out and destroy the entire room.
Cant find those npc you talk about. THere are some in that area selling blue weapon, but its like lvl 36 and up and cost astral diamonds.
Only thing you can buy from gold are some green very poor gear.
If there are something im missing please do tell.

The vendors there do indeed sell blue equipment. I found that out yesterday about that and let some friends know about it. There are 2 vendors at each station one for astral diamonds for I think level 35+ but the other merchant with gold coins above their head starting at level 10 you can purchase decent gear from them for I think...3 silver and some copper a pop. Then you can get more gear at 20 and then at 30. I also had the experience it was better gear then what I got in drops. I can't remember but I believe I also got level 10 blue gear from them but I don't quite remember.

The shop gear changes based on your level so if your to far below lvl 20 you wont see the level 20 blues in the shop.
I think you are mistaken. My character is 23 and i only see lvl 35 as the lowest blue weapon. And it cost crystal
Ceck the vendor next to it. You get a full level 20 set just for a few silver.
Why would I roll the class I smash in PvP and keep even with in DPS during dungeons?
