Looping Conversation in foundry?

Hello,

I want a series of Q&A in a dialog. Is there an easy way to loop a conversation around so that I dont have to have 50,000 of the same responses.

As it is right now its like this:

quest text - Do you have any questions?

response 1, 2, 3

QT for 1, QT for 2, QT for 3,

I would like to then circle back up to either "Do you have any questions" or "Do you have anymore questions?" so that the conversation can loop around the various questions the player can ask?

At the bottom of the dialogue box on the advance dialogue screen, there a little arrow pointing down. You can click and drag that arrow wherever you like. Even back to the beginning. For example. Have one of the responses say, "start over" and point it back to the beginning.

Awesome Zovya, thank you. I just finished the maps for Chapter 1 of my campaign and now I am writing the conversations. That is going to make the dialogs a lot faster to type out lol.

Is it possible to loop story quests though?

Loop story quests? Why would you ever want to do that? And no, you can't loop a quest.

For a puzzle. For example if they don't pick the objects in the right sequence, it resets and they have to do it over.... Trying to make it work, but either I'm missing something, or it's not doable...

Okay here is a related question. Can you 'unloop' a a dialogue option. I have one that I have directing back to a previous part and I decided at a later time I don't want to do that and I have yet to figure out how to remove it. I must be missing something.

Hide the entire response that leads to the loop and replace it with a copy that doesn't. Just make sure only one of them is visible at a time.

Sometimes you have to think outside of the box. :)

Yes, just add a new empty response right before the looping end; this will break the loop. Then delete the new blank response you just added.

If there's a simpler way to do this, I don't know it :)
