Is it to late to buy a founders pack?

Hey guys I was thinking about buying the 60 dollar founder pack but was not sure if it was to late. I know they still offer it on the website but before I dropped the cash I just wanted to make sure I'd get the items.

I know they've been having troubles with the servers so I didn't know if maybe it was overlooked on the site or whatnot.

Hmm as I type this I'm pretty sure it's a stupid question lol, surely they wouldn't offer it if you could not still get the items.

You guys think the 60 dollar pack is worth it? I almost think it is just for the mount alone right as I'm sure buying a mount with the cash shop will probably be expansive.

I'd just buy $60 worth of ZEN... it will get you farther. Most of the stuff in those packs is temporary fluff.

Really? I noticed you get 600k crystals to use at the AH. How long do you think it would take a person to earn that in game?

The problem with buying 60 bucks of Zen is I have no idea how much currency that is for the cash shop.

Honestly the only thing I really want is more character slots, more inventory and possibly a permanent mount. I don't care about the rest of the stuff. If you guys think 60 bucks would get me a permanent mount, extra space and character slot then maybe that would be best.

Honestly, I think the 200 dollar pack was worth it..but that's me.

If you buy the 60 dollar pack and enjoy the game, it will feel worth it to you and that's all that matters.

Thanks, I really would like to know if there was a way I could find out how much Zen 60 bucks would get me and then in turn how much Neverwinter currency that would equal out to.

I am currently considering this. But 200 bucks is imo quite expensive price for it.. I have already the guardian version of the game and I am trying to justify the purchase to myself :) what advantages does this offer to me.

    It was worth it.

Bag+120% mount+Weapon (lasts till level 25)+xp boost+200 complete heal pots+Companion+600K AD+other stuff... Worth $60 and $60 in zen won't get the same stuff.

Actually, the $60 package is a super deal. Here's why:

You get a T3 mount for all your characters (price for a T3 mount in the store: $40) and a T3 striker companion for ALL your characters. A companion from the Zen store for ONE character (not account-wide like the Dire Wolf), costs $30. Additionally, the package comes with 600k Astral Diamonds, which can currently be exchanged for 1250 Zen ($12.50), but will raise in value and probably be worth 2000-3000 Zen in a couple months.

The value of just this exceeds $60 by quite a bit, and it is not considering the other stuff in the pack.

I spent the $200 mainly because:

    a) just had knee surgery and was stuck at home bored stiff, having fizzled out of LOTRO recently and vomiting after a 2-week attempt at going back to Wow.
    b) I'm a huge D&D buff and have been waiting so long for a new D&D-based game, especially set in the Forgotten Realms

I totally regret it now. I've burned 600k of my 2 million AD merely just unbinding item enchants when swapping gear... and only level 56. So that puts the AD burn rate in this game into perspective.

I then sunk $50 in xen - that got me 3 bags and keys to open 20 lockboxes... which I now know are completely useless... I have a stack in my inventory I'm almost about to just destroy.... and wouldn't you know it -- you can buy them for 200AD each... but guess what... you need a key to open them... and guess what... YES YOUR CORRECT - the keys cost Zen. (like you didn't see that coming)

Thanks man, yeah I was thinking it was probably well worth it just was not sure tbh.

to the above poster I guess the moral of the story would be NOT unbinding enchantments until you reach max level. I mean if you spent 600k doing it. I figure it's got to be like most other mmo's anyway as in gear really doesn't mean jack until max level b/c you're just going to be upgrading it all the time anyway and at a much faster rate.

Ouch, why on earth would you do that?
Spending AD to unsocket low level enchants is totally not worth it as the enchant drops are plentiful. Just sell the old item with the enchant in it, and spend a new enchant for your new item. The cost to unsocket is multitudes more that what the enchant is worth most of the time.

You'll get a mount, pet, and starting weapon for every single character you'll make. So I think it's worth it and you also get a respec and character slot.

I have a stockpile of level 5 and 6 blue/rares now... hoping that they just might be worth something eventually.. of course now the fuse success rate is low and you need to spend Xen, of course, to buy the wards to avoid losing them to fuse failures.

But yea.. prolly stupid on my part. If you look at the stat difference of a level 4 green rune that cost maybe 10k AD to unbind vs. some of my level 5's that cost at high as 60k it doesn't make sense... I'm only hoping that at higher levels it starts making more sense... of course I'll be out of AD before I ever find out and with nothing selling in the AH I may just end up fizzling out.

Can someone confirm is the mount in 200 bucks pack character bound or account bound? So can I get to all of my chars this fast 120 speed mount in the account, or just to the character of my choice?

Does the mount and starting weapons apply to each and every character you create? If so id say its a good deal

Edit: Should have looked up 3 posts never mind!

The problem with buying 60 bucks of Zen is I have no idea how much currency that is for the cash shop.

$60, will get you about 6000 Zen, which you could use to get many of the things on your 'important' list... in game, you can 'currently' get about 500,000 Astral Diamonds, per 1000 Zen - so if you traded all $60 (6000 zen) for in game AD, you'd get about 3,000,000.

(this #should go down substantially, as the founder 'AD stockpiles begin to dwindle,)

That said, I personally think that the '$60 Guardian pack' is the better 'bang for buck' over pure 'zen' or the '$200 heroes pack' <--- especially now that the '5 day early access' is past.
    Thanks,

    zWolf / Wesgar

HoTN was very worth it. 2mil ad has turned to 4 love making more on AH. To bad you can't buy that one anymore though I feel quiet special that it's not up for grabs anymore.
