Mail is not working

So it says i have mail but when i open the mail interface it says i got no mail. I have sold a bunch of stuff on the auction house and its not showing in my mail or in the auction house listings. Is there a trick or something to fix this?

I don't have any other characters just 1 char.

    Mail is working just grand I sent all my lockboxes to people I dont like very much!

    mail is not working for me either. sent mail with items attached 8 hours ago still not recieved but my items removed from inventory.

    Just an FYI but I've noticed that they don't let you use your mail as storage (mailing loot to other toons on your account e.g. xyz@acount or to your main account @e.g. account) past a certain point. Once I have a certain amount of mail in the system, I can't send new mail until I clear out the old ones. Try deleting read or old mail and see if that fixes it.

    Go to a town, open your map and look for the mail dude, double click him and follow your sparkles (sorry can't remember what he was called and can't check in game right now) - yes you have to go visit someone to see the mail in your mailbox. I've only talked to him once and haven't checked my mail since so I'm not sure if this is a one-off or you have to visit him each time.

    The problem is that the game isn't reading the mail correctly.

    The reason you see the icon light up is because you do have mail....just not in this game.
    Most likely you have some in champions or star trek online.

    Every so often the system will let you get that mail....other times it wont.

    Sometimes it will for example send me astral diamonds for things in the auction house...and other times it simply tells me things have sold.

    Its a very quirky and sloppy system.

    Power without Perception is Spiritually useless and therefore of no true value.

    I somehow doubt that's the case. I personally have no open accounts for any other Cryptic or Perfect World games, never played them, never will, and have nothing redeemed or linked to them on my account...and yet I have the same issue where mail is acting like it's there, but nothing appears.

    That said, I did have two items on the auction house prior to the most recent patch...up for five days, and they were gone less than twelve hours later, so they must've sold. But I don't recall getting any Astral Diamonds in the mail or the exchange, and I'm certain they didn't get pooled straight into my character's diamonds in the currency inventory and I've yet to see the items appear anywhere either, so I'm assuming my mail is my auction contents (items or diamonds) and are simply not getting through to the mailbox.
