This is maybe a stupid Question, but what does the offhand weapon do on the Rogue?
Adding extra damage? and why does it only equip the main weapon when i double click a weapon in my inventory?
Help me out
The whole equipping thing is the same with rings. Also when you mouse over is only compares to main/right hand. Maybe they will fix this somewhere down the road.

They do change. You maybe just haven't picked up an offhand weapon yet.

But what does the offhand do? extra damage?

I'm not exactly sure how they do the formula, whether it takes the stats/dmg from both weapons into account for each strike, or if the offhand is dealt with separately in the at-will attacks (i.e. first strike is MH, second is OH, etc..). But having an offhand does improve damage and strikes.

Open Character sheet (c) and you can drag and drop your daggers to either slot (main/offhand).
To see what the offhand dagger does to stats = Equip a main hand dagger, look at stats, then equip a offhand dagger, look at stats and compare the difference = what stats the offhand gives you.
