No Mail service between toons on one server and another?

Is it just me or am I not permitted to send items, or in game currency from a toon on Mind Flayer to a toon on Dragon? It's bad enough I can't play with my friends on a different server or change servers but I can't even move my items to that server?
If your hand touches metal, I swear by my pretty floral bonnet I will end you.

    Send it to their @handle. it will go to the account, not to the character

    They should be able to retrieve it

    Unfortunately, this is an MMO standard. Shards are segregated. I don't know of any MMOs that don't work this way. But, it won't be a permanent issue here once they merge back to one super-shard.

    lol Thanks but nope, I tried that right off, this isn't my first rodeo. The items Im trying to send to Dragon do not show up on Dragon, but are available to my other toons on Mind Flayer.

    Well I hope they hurry up with the merge or at least make a transfer from shard to shard possible. I started all my toons on 'Flayer only to have my Guildies set up the guild on Dragon when Open Beta hit (I was HotN early starter)

    I'm guessing it has something to do with the current server shard separation then as that should have worked. In which case it probably won't work until the current server shards are merged.

    I have 2 toons on the same server but when I try and post from one to the other the post just keeps coming back to the one that sent it.

    I have tried the 'character-name @handle' and '@handle' and even just the 'character name' but the post always come back to the sending character.

    When I send I can say 'A' send to 'B' but the mail comes back to 'A' saying that 'A' sent it.

    Any one have any clues why?

    Send it to the @handle and then every character on the same shard will be able to access that mail.

    Oh haha I get it now. Even tho it looks like it's sent it back to the toon that sent it the mail has really gone to both toons to pick up. Thank you Theviking2006. It will teach me to log over and look in the mail in the future.
