Instance entries are an oldschool wow thing now. Insta queues are the future.
Not when there's a level restriction on them, when they're tied to achievements (sometimes multiple) and also often contain lore entries. A manual entry with a bypass is needed...unless the level limits are lifted, so they'd very much be useful right now. The current system is a shot-in-the-foot approach and really doesn't do the game any favours.

Agreed. I fidn this very off putting. I find myself fretting too much about missing soemthing, rather hten enjoying the experience.
argh. I didn't realise that there was a level limit on these skirmish events. In fact, I didn't realise you could queue to do them, so I did other things while trying to find a party manually. My Rogue is now level 12 and I haven't done this yet. Is there any way I can 'go back' and complete the quest?
... but I have done the Orc skirmish event, which was lots of fun!
Beside the queue via "k" there is always an NPC that lets you do that as well. Not sure if you can enter this way with less than 5 player (e.g. at higher lvls to redo the event) but for Dungeons it works if you are going to the entrance.
But while Dungeons are mostly at the end of the current map, skirmishes aren't - the NPC can be almost everywhere and is not marked at the map, at least I think so.
