The 5th, but why do you want one? They are kind of useless. For just $30 worth of zen you can get much more AD then the $200 founder pack.

For a total of $80, you can get more and better stuff through the store than the $200 founder pack offers.

Infinite Tier 3 pets, mounts and excellent starting weapons?

Your poor math teacher...
Even if your totals were correct (which they aren't), you can get a $60 founder's pack. $60<$110.

There are numerous threads about how both packs contain more value within than you would get buying equivalent items with Zen individually. Search will get you these threads with math/work shown to back it up. Of course it isn't just math. People will want some of the exclusive items, as with any MMO.

Indeed. If you buy a ZEN it is better than founder pack.

You can pass mounts and companions around characters. After playing the game for about 4 days, the HotN pack is worthless.

The starting weapons get replaced by level 17.
You can also get obscene AD ATM. Its 1 Zen for 500+ AD.

Zen also gets you a better pet, since the Panther is garbage compared to white companions, not to mention Galen Duhr. Anyway the stone or cat are all level 60's use.

I would like to get the guardian pack regardless, but I cannot because both payment avenues say they cannot complete payment due to my card, or cannot verify my card, when I used it at the hair salon, and two different businesses at the mall today. Very annoying. Won't even accept Visa gift cards. Anyone else having this problem?

The epic store mounts are account bound, the cleric is the best pet and you can grab it for free on all characters (panther is useless), the starting weapon lasts 3 hours. $200 can get you 21300 Zen, worth 10,650,000 AD which you can probably turn into close to 40k Zen in a few months if you sit on it. Ya...

Exactly. The $200 Founder pack is a rip off. The Guardian Pack isn't that much better off either.

Just buy Zen and you will be better off for MUCH cheaper.

I didn't expect this from Cryptic, but alas it's true. PW has corrupted them.

Well this answered my question. I was wondering when it would end.

To be honest, all of these feel about double the price I'd be interested in paying. $10, $30, and $100 feel right to me. I guess my tendency to get bored with MMOs very quickly also causes some apprehension to spending that kind of money.

The problem with the packs is, they should have given zen instead of AD. The founders packs for Marvel Heroes blow the founders packs for this game away. Way more generous. I actually have more store credit for when the game launches, than I actually spent on packs.

The Guardian pack is doable. But I'd probably have gotten more out of sixty dollars worth of zen. Some of the fluff items are 'SWTOR CE bad' (I mean they actually have an item with useless in the name). Though nothing on Earth could ever be as bad as the holocam*.

*Which was an item that took up an inventory slot, and when clicked all it did was take a screenshot.
Mindflayer Shard - @direcrow
The Dire Crow - Tiefling TR
Alice L'ddell - Human GF
Ludovique - Tiefling DC

Have you checked the AD cost for un-binding a T3 companion?

Imho the $60 pack is worth it so you can have a t3 mount and the starter weapon on all new characters.
Also the wolf isn't as useless as the panther, it actually does decent damage and knocks enemies back (and prone if you get it to rank 30).

Yeah the wold is actually pretty good. Not as good as the Zen Store items (SURPRISE), but better than the white companions we get for free.

Ya, I want to know if it ends on the 5th or 7th. I'm very tempted to get it, but I need a bit more time to save up the cash. I should have it by the 7th, but the 5th is pushing it!

And which often also left you stuck in first-person mode, only able to reset by logging out of the game and back in again. Totally agree.

According to directly above the post, it says "The Founder Program ends 5/30. Become a Founder now before it's too late: http://nw.perfectworld.com/founderspack/"

I'd also like to caution you before you purchase it to make sure to check this thread and make sure it's a safe buy/the issues have been resolved: http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?31781-Founder-s-Pack-Report-Purchase-Issues-Here!

I ordered my founders pack on Saturday, and while the payment went through easily... I still haven't received it. I spent all day trying to contact billing support by phone with no luck or answer either....just goes strait into a hang up message. I'm not even close to being the only one, and some folks have been waiting since Wednesday.

I liked the part where all the PWE users know more than HotNs about founders packs. Everything minus the respec/AD is given to every created character. Worthless? Not really unless you have a lot of time to farm up epic mounts for each of your characters ... well I guess with only 2 slots, it wouldn't take THAT long but I guess it would still be quite a long time.
