Righteous Cleric

My current feat build is:

Heroic:
3/3 Toughness
3/3 Greater Fortune
3/3 Weapon Mastery
3/3 Holy Resolve
3/3 Repurpose Soul
3/3 Cleanse
5/5 Bountiful Fortune
*Human, so 3 bonus feat points

Paragon:
5/5 Rising Hope
5/5 Righteous Rage of Tempus
5/5 Ethereal Boon
5/5 Power of Oppression
5/5 Righteous Flames
5/5 Healing Step or Enduring Relief
1/1 Sovereign Justice

This build is all about Divine Power. Between Bountiful Fortune, Righteous Rage, and Ethereal Boon I can enhance my encounter powers pretty much every time they come off cooldown, and still have some DP left over for spot healing with Soothing Light when necessary.

I'm going for high Wisdom, so Greater Fortune will give me even greater benefit out of that choice and gives the build a needed boost to healing.

Taking Toughness and Holy Resolve was more for the sake of PvP where Clerics are like catnip to Rogues. Both feats get better and better for every +HP item equipped, so I'll be trying to add as much of it as I can while still maintaining solid Power/Crit/Recovery stats.

Weapon Mastery and Repurpose Soul pretty much speak for themselves; crits are great, healing when you crit is spectacular.

Power of Oppression is wonderful, making it even more imperative that you throw Astral Seals on everything in sight. Righteous Flames makes my favorite Daily power even better (though I'm confused as to why this feat isn't in the Virtuous [dps] tree).

I'm torn between Healing Step, which would be quite powerful in PvP allowing you to escape from sticky situations with ease, and Enduring Relief, which would be great for both because it procs off of Astral Seal heals. My choice will depend on if I like PvE or PvP better, I suppose, though I'm very much open to suggestions on this point.

Sovereign Justice seems to do a great job of defining the purpose of the Righteous tree; survivability. Particularly in PvP where Clerics get focused, this feat makes attacking the Cleric a "two steps forward, one step back" situation. With the addition of Toughness, Holy Resolve, and Healing Step the Cleric becomes supremely hard to kill, allowing the Cleric to handle focus fire in PvP and add aggro in PvE.

Hey thanks for putting this together. I'm also making a cleric, and it is nice to see ideas and opinions. I'm just getting started, so I don't have much to offer to the discussion, just thank you for taking the time to do this.

Whoops! Just realized I never even asked the question I intended to. :P

What does everyone think of the Righteous paragon tree? Am I accurate in calling it a Survivability tree or do some of you see it differently? Is it stronger/weaker than the other trees?

@bunzaga: My pleasure! :) Best of luck in the game!
