PvP damage bug?

Why is it that my damage in pvp is about half what it is outside of pvp?

    Because if it wasn't i would be running around 1 shotting people in pvp with my ice knife as a control wizard.

    Probably something related to AC and Defense of players.

    Unfortunately most mmos change the entire rule set for pvp to 'balance' it. One of the most common hacks they do is to cut damage by a big % so the fights last longer. This is kind of silly IMHO (some of the best pvp games like modern warfare are one shot kill games) but that is what developers like to do in mmos.

    Other things that may already exist or may be something to expect soon would be reduced crowd control effects (that is, if you stun someone twice in a row, the second time it does not work or does not last as long or something) and nerfs to specific very strong skills (for example your once a day stuff like the cleric kill/stun everything and heal allies bomb).

    I do not know what this game has done or will do for pvp, but do not expect other players to be wiped out like mobs, is all I am saying.
