    It shows at the bottom on the launcher window I believe.

    No one knows what timezone because the servers aren't on my timezeone.... At this moment the time in my country is 6:15PM.

    The original estimate is that they should be back online in just under 3 more hours. There is every possibility that it could be longer or shorter, though.

    Actually it is there fault. Not everyone scours the forums every day unless there is a problem...

    There is some small text at the bottom of the launcher, but the news feed is at the top. Most people will notice a news feed, but dismiss small text at the bottom as trademarks, launcher versions, etc. It should have been put in the news feed.

    True, but when the announcement is stickied right at the top of the General Discussion forums, there's really not much digging necessary. ;)

    I didnt have to dig, but I understand others not seeing it immediately. Acting like a d*** on the forums is unnecessary. The guy just asked a question, and made a good point. It isn't the most visible thing, and the server status lights are green.

    Lazy administration:
    1) Change server status light from green to red.
    2) Have an accurate error handling message.
    3) If servers are down, put a message up reflecting that.

    How about they just do their jobs, update what they're updating, and we let the minute details slide-by?

    I don't think he's asking for much....he's asking them to "do their jobs". Updating server status IS their job, as is implementing a decent error message system that lets you know wtf is going on. I hate when people excuse bonehead moves on the part of the devs and systems admins. Call a spade a spade.

    Edit: Just realized, there is no server status on the website...unless i'm missing it. someone link it if you find it. Thanks
