Any other rogues out there having trouble with this encounter at level 23? I am dodging at all the right times, using cooldowns, potions, and a man at arms tank companion. The companion dies early and even though I resurrect him countless times, he doesn't rez with enough life to do much good and I get hit while rezzing anyways. It's not possible to dodge 100 percent of the attacks due to stamina regenerating and this boss has so much health that between him and the mobs I have to kill, I just don't last through it, especially since my tank dies a third of the way into it.
I wonder if it would be easier with the cleric companion, but I'd have to buy one and level it up just to do this quest and that would be a pain. Is that what I should do or can some other rogues who have defeated this boss give me some pointers? I just don't remember this boss being this hard in closed beta.
Thanks a ton for any tips.

did it earlier today with a level 23 rogue and healer companion, even tho my companion died early in the fight still managed to do it...on the second attempt (first time i ran out of potions because character bound potions don't stack with regular ones).
used about 3 potions the whole fight, but yeah it was definitely the hardest boss so far.
I got destroyed on that fight three times before I realized that I was under stocked on health pots and that my companion wasn't summoned, I bought about 20 of the potions that heal 2000hp and summoned my companion and then I was good to go. It was still tricky but I didn't get completely annihilated again.

Really? Maybe that was it because at times I found that I could not use a potion. I had both bound and unbound potions equiped and was using them in different slots. I was just randomly activating potions in both slots so if one didn't work it was probably because I already used the other type. I'll pay more attention to that and just use one type.
I also wonder if a healer companion would be better for this type of boss. Shrugs.
I expected the L2P comments, thanks for that, always helpful. lol I don't mind posting when I have an issue though and I'm not ashamed to admit. This has been the only challenge thus far in the game, and honestly that is not a good thing. I wish I was in here more often asking for boss tips because it would mean that everything is not a faceroll. I like having to research how to down a boss.
But what would you say was the saving grace in this encounter? Dodging / blocking attacks better or timed right or using certain skills?
