I have been trying to log in for the past day and a half, since the game went into open beta, and when ever I do I get put into a 14k queue, which in my opinion is even that bad, I wouldn't mind waiting to get my turn etc, but it doesnt ever go down; sometimes it jumps up to 160k + and then will go back down to around 14k, and every now and then it actually goes down a tiny bit, but always jumps back up. I have let it sit there for approx 6+ hours and it just does it endlessly.... what can I do to fix this?
this game is going to do good for one simple reason it is FREE!
No game is ever going to be considered "good" if you have to wait through 12000 person queue to get in and play .....

I dont think its the waiting that is getting players hot and bothered, its more the fact they were expecting a large amount of players on open beta launch and yet they went live with only 3 servers, And i have no idea why but i went from 1289th in the que to 49048th
I do not mind the wait...Hell I remember WoWs hay day when you had a 30 min wait for a high pop server...It is getting down to tripple digit que numbers and then it jumping to 200K....I am sorry but 200k founders did not log in all of a sudden.

They can call it a Beta, but when you open to the public with no limits on population, what they are really saying is "We want to be able to blame all the mismanagement and poor planning for a launch on a Beta tag."

Those aren't servers you see. They're shards. Each shard is controlled by a number of servers. So it's not like the Dragon shard can only hold 5000 people and they have to add a ServerName4, ServerName5, ServerName6, ServerName7, etc. They just add more space (extra servers to the pool of servers in each shard) to contain more players in a shard. Obviously they've gotten more interest than they anticipated (the norm for all releases lately it seems) so they'll be adding more space to the shards to compensate.
We just need to give them a bit of time to jack up the shard space and the queues will go down. Waiting sucks, but what else can we do if we want to play?
Oh, and the queue jumping from 5k to 80k (or whatever obscene number you see) is just a bug. You're not really suddenly in the 80k-th place. Supposed to be fixed with this patch.
yeah the QUE's is quite annoying. I hope it gets better. But remember everyone it's in OPEN BETA. Don't expect too much from the start. The game is in evolve-mode.
