wanna ask what are professions

hello all:o
i am lvl 12 cw and i heard u can get a profession at lvl 10 what are professions and what u do with that and how u get it

    Professions are basically crafting professions. Just press N to bring up the professions window in-game or if you're out of game go to:
    http://gateway.playneverwinter.com/

    If you go through each profession there and perform the task "Hire a Mercenary/Weaver/Prospector/Miner/Skinner" that will unlock all the crafts for you at level 1 and you can browse through them to see the different items each profession can make. As you level up your character and your professions you will unlock more slots so that you can craft/level up multiple professions/tasks at the same time.
