Just went to purchase one, and it is attempting to charge an extra "Tax" on top of the price? Has this happened to anyone else?

Are you from Europe? Cause that will make the founders packs get a lot more expensive... at least that's why i bought the guardian instead of the Hero package

Is it telling you that they will charge you a New Jersey 7% sales tax, zoosh?
If they are ... and you don't live in New Jersey ... get in touch with PayPal or Skrill (whichever processed your payment) and get a partial refund in the amount of the sales tax.
This happened to me ... and I live in Pennsylvania. At first, PayPal said that it must be my ISP/IP. I went up a couple of management/supervisory ranks and the very nice woman that I finally got called into PW's customer service. She was able to get PW to give me a partial refund in the amount of the tax I had been overcharged. During the course of the hour long conversation, the PW customer service rep made allusion to the fact that it was a bug in their system ... that, at least as far as I seem to be concerned, hasn't been fixed. Go figure, my husband who bought a starter pack in the next room (seated not more than 10-12 ft from me and on the same router) was not charged this sales tax.
Sorry for the delay in responding to your thread but I didn't see it until about 20 minutes ago. And ... I hope this helps.

Actually, Ambisiniterr, I have no real idea what's going on ... but, I was all set to buy a second starter pack (having already bought all three of the "bundles") and figured it should be no problem after my husband bought his starter pack and when I did so ... the 7% New Jersey sales tax was still showing up for me. I REALLY didn't want to go through another three hour song and dance between myself, PayPal and PW so I decided to bag it. Interestingly enough, when I bought Zen during the previous "bonus" weekend I was not charged any tax. No clue why the discrepancy.
