I've noticed that all of my friends have been getting one with their new character. While this doesn't in itself bother me, I'm glad they're getting the help, I thought this was something in the Zen store and founder packs that is to be paid for, and with it being such, I feel that it kind of devalues the founder's packs if they ended up just giving all new characters that. I'm not mad that something so trivial is being given out, I'm just confused why it was listed in the founder's packs and in the Zen store if it is being given to all new characters because it seems like something some of us paid for is suddenly worth nothing.
I tried looking for answers to this, such as if they were given out due to the queue problems and such, but haven't seen anything.
Opinions?

Did your friend buy Torchlight 2 when PWI was running a special including beta access for Neverwinter? I got one too but I assumed that was why.
Basically the entire cash shop is a sham and the 200 dollar founders pack an even bigger scam. It should not suprise you at all that in a week when most people move on, they will be selling everything in the founders pack as a bundle for $10.

I'm with saintxii, this completely free.
You want a warranty for your 100$ laptop at "Insert electronics franchise"? That'll be another 100$ please.
A business is a business, they need to make money to support the game.... Plus they need to keep pumping out constant content to keep all the greedy free loaders satisfied so they can keep playing for free.
Did I mention you don't actually have to buy anything to play the game in its entirety?

Completely off topic.
The point is that they have given something that is in the cash shop and was included as one of the perks that all founders paid for to everyone, devaluating what we spent our money on in a sense. Not a big deal, just sketchy and counter-productive to the theory of people spending money to get that perk outside of the founder pack...

Oops, sorry for that. Seems like reading all these posts finally made me vent a bit.
And I do agree with you, jsewell, it seems a little odd that they would do this.. maybe it wasn't intentional.. They left the trigger on from the founders early access before opening the flood gates hahaha.
Has anyone noticed that 75% of threads devolve into people *****ing about the free to play model?

I just noticed that the adventurer's pack that they are getting and that I got are different than the ones listed in the founder's packs. I never received a health stone and such. Did I miss where I was supposed to get this? I got all of my other founder items O_o
sorry for the mix up!

Yeah.,. you people know that the pack the founders get is different right? You have to pick it up from the founder's liaison guy right next to where you get your peasant clothes.
