LOL I *know* this question will raise a few eyebrows!
Unlike STO and Co which irritate players with WAY TOO MANY Lockbox drops - Neverwinter feels the opposite. (Yes, I do gamble on Lockboxes once in a while).
I read that they are for sale from a vendor in Protector's Enclave. But I'm pulling my hair out finding that vendor. So, uh... which is it? ~grins~
LOL - Just made 80,000 Astral Diamonds! Can't be all THAT bad, huh?
(Two Lockboxes each containing a Jeweled Idol, each Idol worth 40,000 Astral Diamonds. Go figure!)

Yeah that one of the more useful lockbox rewards IMO the others I gotten are enchantment and leadership packs.
I'm hoping I'll be able to sell mine for 150 AD, or something similar. I hate lockboxes with a passion though. I wish there was an option to toggle them off.

Thanks for the info on the vendor.
People don't realize that there's a lot of potential to recoup the cost of keys, or even make a tidy profit if you're lucky.
If I open a mount, I'm putting that sucker on the AH as fast as I can scramble there, and buying a pile more lockboxes/keys with the proceeds.

Exactly. It's just "legalized gambling" - which is actually fun for some people. And when you strike gold (Idols worth 40K AD) - you can buy more keys and lockboxes. It's all about managing your budget and you don't *have* to buy keys with any real money.
The rate of drop for lockboxes on STO and CO have trained people to *HATE* them (way WAY too often). But here in NWO I am now at level 23 and only have THREE lockboxes drop total. So I wanted to buy some. I admit I'm kind of hoping to win a Nightmare - but if not I figure I'll be able to buy one from the bars vendor in a year or so! LOL
Lockboxes are just a lottery. and most of them definitely give you a $1.25 worth of stuff at bare minimum.

I'm sure you'll find a line up of people wanting to sell you theirs.
The whole idea seems to have people up in arms.
Yes, figures. But people bish about anything for bishing sakes. I'll buy from the vendor for 200AD.

Right next to the Wondrous Bazaar person you buy the lock boxes from. They have a quest turn in that rewards a box that opens for 40K Astral Diamonds.
