Sometimes when I drag a room onto a new area template my mouse will disappear. When I alt tab I'll find my mouse on my second monitor stuck to the top left corner. Not sure if it's worth mentioning but I've only been playing with the 'Crypt' style rooms.
If anyone knows any fixes or things I can do differently to avoid this problem it would be greatly appreciated!

That's been happening to me quite frequently. I've been able to consistently fix it by immediately doing a CTRL-S to save the mission and that sets the mouse free. Might be another way, but don't forget to go back and get the piece that dropped.

Yeah this happens to me too!
I also have two screens. Maybe a multi-monitor related issue?
I've been hitting ctrl+F4 and cancelling when it prompts me to save to fix the issue, although I'll be using ctrl+S from now on!

I've been having the issue and fixing it with CTRL+S (great minds think alike?) as well, but I don't have multiple monitors. Mine seems to only do this when I am dragging and item over onto my map.
I have also seen the mouse get stuck on a single monitor situation as well.
On the dangerous side, I've also gotten out of it by alt-tabbing, starting the 'kill process' mechanism from the Task Manager, but not really killing it.
The close event gets trapped and you can cancel out before it actually kills your process, and the mouse does correct itself afterwards.
