Massive Lag

I've been experience massive amounts of lag and server delays.
I did /showfps 1 to check my ping, and it was great.

Is it because of the high amount of log-ins? Because that shouldn't be an issue.
World of Warcraft never has this issue, nor does League of Legends, Path of Exile, or any other MMO I've played.

I'm experiencing lag too, I suspect it's just launch day. Developers usually underestimate the requirements of running the first month of launch (which often means they end up overestimating what they need after people get bored and wander).

    Yeah, that's true.
It's probably a lack of preparation on Perfect World's part.

I'm lagging so badly out in the sky/undead pirates area that it's not possible to play. Half of my attacks aren't hitting but still suffer cooldown. I'm rubber-banding backwards when I move, which is really dangerous out there since there's no ground if you fall off a bridge... and I've been rubber-banded off the world to my death three times in the past 30 minutes.
I'm getting "Server not responding" at the top of my screen every so often. I've not had lag this bad since Beta Weekend 3!

I just quit playing for now. I'll keep doing the gateway for my professions, but the inability to play is frustrating to say the least.
