This is occurring for me on a daily basis, with the only exception being a Skirmish yesterday in which no Tank and no Healer were assigned to our group, so the entire process was a waste of time and potions to keep yourself alive.
So far not the best start to dungeons and skirmishes with what seems to be a fundamentally broken matchmaking system. Is this because of a lack of crucial classes playing their role, or perhaps I'm just too high of a level to easily find a group. Perhaps guilds are keeping it within themselves?
Hope things change within the next few days. There is a noticeable gear gap in solo PvE content that can only be resolved by successfully running the level 40 dungeons.

I really don't understand why are you, and many others I've seen in the forums, are concerned about this. The players that have access to the game right now are about 1% of the population of this game tomorrow..The game will be flooded and in 2 days there will be more 40 level people than the servers can handle.. This is so obvious that I really can't relate to any concerns..
I am experiencing this as well as not getting any groups formed in hours of queue time!
My main concern with this is that I have missed some skirmishes due to out levelling them before a queue. At the moment there is no way to go back and do the previous skirmishes since they don't have an entrance (the dungeons have their epic versions at 60).
This is a problem indeed. If I were in your position I would wait until the game is open and then continue leveling. I can understand that this is frustrating though..

SInce I haven't played the game yet I'm curious about how this works. I'm guessing that the most popular classes have a more difficult time finding parties?
Hmm I've got a pop within 30min each time I get into the game at any level. Especially Skirmishs. We are about to get flooded around Noon today with F2P crowd. Hopefully with a Mentoring System coming into play in the near future this will never been an issue again.
It is very weird. I resigned myself to experiencing dungeons on another character later or as level 60 versions of the dungeons. Even que-ing as 2 people did not seem to go a heck of a lot faster, we outleveled 2 dungeons the other day with no que popping.
They need to fix their coding... trying to pair up unique classes is nonsense and other than that I don't see why it's taking so long. I see people in the areas, who are playing solo or duos and I bet you they also que-ed and nothing happened.
Anyone know if there is an LFG channel?

As a gf on beholder i always got pretty instant invites. but im also pretty low still. ans you have to see that there is really only a very small portion already playing.
This is odd. I literally never wait for pvp more than 5 minutes. Skirmishes and dungeons might take 10-20 minutes in some cases but thats not bad. There does seem to be a problem with the group composition sometimes. Like for instance having 2 tanks or 2 clerics is common.

It'll change. STO instances pop in less than a minute at all hours of the night. Just need more of the population in the game, and then we need to merge all the servers. After that, we'll be solid.
Obviously the problem is the amount of players well.. Playing.
Are you that naive to believe that the majority of players are already in-game? Most people including myself are waiting for today, to see if the game is truly worth any money.
