Help with framerate

edited May 2013 in Bug Reports (PC)
During skirmishes/dungeons and in Neverwinter (city) my FPS seems to drop really bad where it's just stuttering.
I have my graphics at recommended which is at max, but I tried lowering the settings and it only alleviated the issue somewhat, not completely.

I'm running:
i5-3570k CPU @ 3.40GHz
8GB RAM
Geforce GTX 660

Please help! I really wanna run this game smoothly

I'm not sure what it could be other than possibly driver conflicts.

Are your drivers up to date?

I have the same issue. Whenever I got into PvP, Skirmishes or Dungeons my framerate goes bonkers. I've narrowed it down to being caused from multiple spells going off, I think. I have a beefy rig so that's not an issue. No matter what setting I put it on it will just go bonkers crazy when there are a lot of spells or abilities going off.

It just stutters and goes nuts, if I can manage to turn around for a second it stops and I can turn back and things are fine for awhile, but as soon as certain skills go off again, it just locks up hard. I've even had it crash my game completely at times. In town and general questing in zones with my friends, things are fine though. I didn't have this issue back a few betas ago.

Yep. I did so today with my graphic drivers

This is EXACTLY what's happening. Even after awhile in the field the game begins to stutter.
I'm going to try and mess around with the graphics option that's connected to the spell particles and effects to see if it improves

EDIT: Lowering options did nothing for the problem
