OK, I've played enough STF's in STO to know this is probably not going to be changed but the whole idea of locking out players who've died and released in a Dungeon is antiquated and disgusting to me. It's an old design concept meant to create challenge and drama. I get it.
What I don't get however is how come once every one dies and the team reassembles at the doors, someone opens the door, 4 people manage to go in and the 5th is locked out! That's right, apparently it happens and sometimes players get locked out on the way in!
I wouldn't have believe it had it not happened to me today. All I could do was sit there and watch everyone having fun.
So, Cryptic... please, change your door-design, please put in air-locks as doors in dungeons. It'd be the least you could do to prove to us that your games are worth our time and money! Thanks.

I do wish they would design things a bit more user friendly. Not much fun when your new at things and get locked out but not moving the right way fast enough or by accidentally re-spawning to be locked out of the fun, etc...

Yeah... really, all they need is to simply make each Dungeon Door into two doors with a little corridor between them; like an airlock.

X - marks the Respawn Point if you die in the Boss Room.
1 - marks the entrance door which locks when the entire team is in the space between doors 1 and 2.
2 - marks the access door which opens only after the team entered the corridor between doors 1 and 2, then never closes!

Where does this happen at? The end bosses in dungeons seem to have a "You must gather your party to continue" swirly thing, then you are shown a cut scene of the boss with your group in the boss room.

This actually happened after we fought the Boss once and teamwiped! We all had to reassemble outside of the Boss room and restart the battle. We discovered though that one player was actually missing from the fight as his connection died and after he reconnected he spawned far away and had to make his way back to us.
