Kits, where do you get them?

Hello, I'm new to the game. I just did the first vault area and I saw a bunch of things that required kits to open. Where do we get kits? Crafting? Shops? Real money?

    There's a vendor in the market that sells kits. You can also get some from the Adventurer's Helper pack you get as part of your Guardian pack. You only get one of those, though, so make sure you want to use it.

    She is in the top left area of the market. The NPC says "Potions and Kits Merchant". Kits are 1s50c each.
