I'm running windows 7 on a HP Pavilon p7-1155
Wireless LAN 802.11b/g/n

i know my ISP and such have some control on this but is there anything i can do on my end to lower the lag in-game?
i was fine during weekend betas and on the 25th but yesterday i started having issues with lag and it continues today

so i ran nettest.exe as posted by a dev
and this was the result

1) Download and run http://download.perfectworld.com/CrypticNetTest.exe, and paste the results here. This tests connectivity on the ports that Cryptic software uses.
2) At the Windows command prompt (cmd), run "tracert patchserver.crypticstudios.com"

Yea didn't your post, but if Lags a problem for you try turning the graphics settings all the way down then restarting the program. Its what fixed the horrible lag I had on the 3rd weekend. I was able to turn the graphics back up once Prime time had passed with no issues.

If you are looking for a translation, that's basically telling you there is no issues between you and the server. 40-50ms ping is really good.

Try what I recommended. It might work, its probably just the amount of people online right now, and your connection having trouble handling the stress.

I would guess it's wireless packet loss. Maybe you have some signal interference or are playing too far from the transmitter, I would honestly never recommend anyone try to play an online game over a wireless connection. It's not a question of is there packet loss, it's how bad is it.

I agree with astazia here. aralix, your nettest and tracert look fine, so I think your basic connectivity is OK. So I think you should see if you still have the issue with a hard connection, instead of using wireless. Wireless is a notorious cause of lag. Let me know if that helps or doesn't help.

By the way, you should open a Tech Support ticket if you haven't already.
