Control wizard/ race?

hey guys im planning on being a control wizard but what race should i choose to compliment the spells/abillites and why?

    All are good but the best base race is Teifling IMO. Since both Stat bonus can go to Wizard stats and it got a great racial +5% damage vs mobs with less than 50% life. But TBH you can make any race good.

    I went human for the three extra feat points.

    When you look at them, it does make a difference, it would mean choosing to drop something like +3% crit chance...or +6% AoE damage without it and AoE can be great with the right build of Chilling Cloud, Chilling Presence, Storm Spell, Ice Storm and Conduit of Ice with a Renegade Paragon focused on AoE, Chill and Crit bonuses.

    Tiefling and human are best, but it's really just a small advantage. Gear matters a lot, small stats differences less so. I went with a human too because I didn't like the male Tiefling faces. Pick the race you prefer and it'll work out.

    Tiefling is cool. Ofc I don't like the frontal horns so...human. :D
