Event bars attached to the minimap

Is there a way to keep the event bars moved into the minimap? There are the buttons to hide them in the minimap but with every videosequence or zone change they come back out.

    Agreed they were really annoying as i like to change the map position and UI. Maybe if they just glowed when there was an update and once viewed remove the glow effect.

    Small issue but would be nice down the track :)

    It's incredibly annoying. I don't know whether it's a bug or a setting somewhere which I've missed, but either way it's completely off-putting. I've logged it as a bug - perhaps those seeing the same problem can do likewise, so that we can maybe get it fixed?

    I rearranged the hud so that the minimap is on the bottom of the screen, its less annoying for the bars being out, but it would be nice if they would stay in.

    It is very aggravating. I hoped they would have added an option in this recent patch.

    Why on earth have they not yet fixed this issue? This is by far the most annoying thing in the whole game, and absolutely devastates my immersion to the game!

    Please fix this ASAP!
