I have done a couple of searches and only found general foundry crash discussions from the Beta weekends.
My issue is that I have never been able to get into the foundry. I am a HotN package, and (while it shouldn't matter) have a toon over level 15.
Whenever I click on 'New Quest' the 'Initializing Quest' pop up appears, the little activity indicator spins for less than a second and then the whole thing freezes up.
Is anyone else having this issue?
I have tried raising a ticket in game. I get a message saying I have successfully created a ticket, but when I view the 'my tickets' area the list is blank.
Not sure what to try from here.
Cheers.

it may be bugged, some folks were having trouble even getting their Foundry Avatars created, I can't speak to this since I already had a foundry quest made, so I haven't tied to make a new quest. I would defiantly post this in the bug forum, I'm sure Badbotlimit will want to know of it. Other thing to try... and I know this sounds silly... but have you updated your video card drivers and is it running with DX11?

Thanks for the reply.
I'll post this in bugs, thanks for the suggestion.
My drivers were updated within the last month and I am not running dx11 as yet (still default dx9).
You have reminded me to give the dx11 beta setting a try.
At what point do you create your foundry avatar? I haven't made it to that point yet. Perhaps that is the screen that pops up when you try to make your first quest?

I have no idea, but have you tried playing in windowed mode? Or if you are in windowed, not in windowed mode? Probably won't help but worth a shot.

It happens. Restarting client and praying to Tymora may or maynot work. But give it time when it creates first quest.
Also having "Disable on-demand patching" in client helps reduce the time (but for the issue it does not matters)

Thats a known issue. You got the number (ID) of tiicket, it means it is submitted and you are fine,\.

Thank you very much for the replies. I will try these suggestions and let you know how it goes.
It looks like the world is safe from my deranged creations a few hours longer!
Update: Woah. I disabled on-demand patching and now have a 2Gb patch. With luck some of it will help my Foundry issue.

Disabling on-demand patching in the launcher options, and downloading a 2Gb patch in one hit, seems to have fixed it. I can now get into the foundry.
Thanks for the helpful suggestions!
