All characters stuck walking backwards

Played all day, getting three characters up to around level 10 today with no issues.

Just tabbed out to change music, and when I tabbed back in my character was walking backwards. No input on the keys just walking -very- slowly backwards. Logged out trying to fix it and still happening. Switched characters, and it's happening on all of them. Rebooted the game, rebooted the computer, reset keybinds to defaults. Still happening.

Going to try reinstalling next I suppose, unless someone else has an idea.

Video of what's happening: https://vimeo.com/64870581
Walking backwards (towards the screen) with no hands on the keyboard. I'm still able to dash with SHIFT and attack and move with the mouse, but backwards movement is locked on.

FIXED: Did a system restore from two days ago, no fix. 4 days ago, no fix. Loaded a restore point from over a week ago, and the problem is gone. Mysterious. Game hasn't even been installed for that long.

Nothing wrong with the keyboard. I've tried unplugging it and replacing it with a spare.
I actually just checked and there is no keybind for "walk" that I can find, so this really shouldn't be possible. I'll try to cap a video and post it.

edit: not to mention, if there was something wrong with the keyboard, I wouldn't be able to type this message out probably with the WASD keys. :P

This ^^ If you have a game controller, such as an X-Box 360 controller attached to the system, it may have taken over.

    No controller.
I think it's important to note that the characters aren't running as if a key were held down. They're walking extremely slowly. I may be mistaken, but I don't think Neverwinter has a "walk" function (at least it's not in the keybindings).

I am having this same issue!! Your video is exactly my issue. Works fine for a day or 2, then this starts. Can't get rid of it. After a dozen or so reboots, it goes away for a day or so. Have tried unplugging everything, nothing works! No keys are binding.Doesn't happen in ANY OTHER game I play (Skyrim, DiRT3, Tomb Raider, Hitman, etc...). It is unique to this game and engine.

Anyone have any better fix than a system restore from a while ago?

Edit: Submitted a report. Going to see what the tech department thinks.

well one thing you can do is try to test if its a toggle by trying several key combos

remap the tab key to an emote

    /bind tab e dancesnake

then remap your cleric power to another key

    see if the problem persists

you can set up a walk toggle

    /bind y ++walk

and also see what autorun and back are set to.

try remapping those to something harmless.

once you find out whats going on (by seeing which dance triggers)

you can at least avoid it till the devs fix the issue

Well, first off, it's not a "dance". It's the character walking towards the camera. Not running (like the default action), but walking. Then, there is no way to stop them. The video here is a bit short, see if I can't get a better one for you later. Last time i tried to record one, I rebooted the game (to load FRAPS) and it was working normal.
